11-year-old Girl Kidnapped In Indiana Found Safe At A Gas Station In Wisconsin

Wagswoofs –  An 11-year-old girl, who had been taken from Wells County, Indiana, was discovered at a Kwik Trip convenience store and gas station in Wisconsin.

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office received a notification from the Iowa County Communications Center regarding a vehicle at the Barneveld gas station. The car matched the description of the vehicle involved in the Indiana Silver Alert for the abduction of an 11-year-old girl.

After leaving the convenience store, law enforcement officers from the Dodgeville Police Department and the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office noticed the vehicle traveling south on US Highway 151. Consequently, they promptly initiated a stop.

The police safely rescued the child from the vehicle. They arrested three adults involved in the incident.

    • Zachary Delozier, 27, from Edgemont. South Dakota
    • Sara Gaudino, 23, of Rapid City, South Dakota
    • Isaiah Schryvers, 24, of Rapid City, South Dakota

Three individuals had active warrants for the kidnapping of a minor in Wells County.

“As Iowa County Sheriff, I can’t thank everyone enough,” said Sheriff Michael W. Peterson. “Being out there with this great group of professionals, watching all these agencies come together, taking these three adults into custody quickly, and removing this 11-year-old female from this situation so she can return to her family is an amazing feeling. Thank you for making a difference in our communities.”

The investigation of this case is currently ongoing and will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
