12 People Taken To Hospitals Following Collision Between City Bus And Sanitation Truck In New York City

Wagswoofs –  A collision between a bus and a sanitation truck in New York City on Wednesday night resulted in several individuals being transported to hospitals.

According to a spokesperson from the New York Police Department, the collision occurred in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx around 9:30 p.m., as reported by USA TODAY on Thursday.

When the first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered that a collision had occurred between an MTA bus and a sanitation truck, according to the spokesperson.

12 people taken to hospitals

The exact number of individuals on the bus or inside the truck remains unknown at this time. However, authorities have confirmed that 12 individuals were taken to nearby hospitals by paramedics.

According to the police, all the victims were transported in stable condition.

Authorities have reported no fatalities as of Thursday.
