Wagswoofs – A local media report states that a 15-year-old boy has been arrested on Thursday for allegedly slashing another 15-year-old high school boy with a razor blade. This incident marks the third slashing or stabbing incident at a high school in New York City within the span of three days.
According to a report by ABC 7 New York, a fight broke out between two boys inside New York City Charter High School for Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industries in the Bronx. During the altercation, one of the boys allegedly displayed either a small razor blade or a boxcutter.
The wounded boy has been transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in a stable condition. Meanwhile, the other boy involved in the incident has been apprehended and is facing charges of assault. According to the police, the altercation originated from playful fighting that swiftly escalated into a more aggressive confrontation.
On Wednesday, a 12-year-old student from a different school in the Bronx was reportedly injured when a 14-year-old student allegedly slashed their right leg. The injured student was promptly taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. Following the incident, the 14-year-old student was arrested, and law enforcement was able to recover the knife that was supposedly used in the attack.
A 15-year-old boy was apprehended on Tuesday for his involvement in a gang-related stabbing incident at a high school located in Brooklyn. The victim, also a 15-year-old boy, sustained a non-life-threatening injury to his stomach and was promptly transported to a hospital for medical attention.
The suspect involved in the stabbing incident on Tuesday has been charged as an adult with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.
According to ABC 7 New York, police officers on campus recovered 13 knives, a stun gun, a box cutter, and multiple pepper spray containers after the stabbing incident at the Brooklyn high school. As a result, students at the school were searched.
