26-year-old Airlifted And Several Others Injured In NJ Turnpike Crash

Wagswoofs –  According to New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron, a woman was driving north in a Nissan when her car veered off the road to the right and ended up in a ditch near milepost 45.6 around 12:35 a.m. on Sunday, December 31.

A Toyota passenger vehicle collided with the disabled Mazda after the initial crash.

After the initial collision, a Toyota passenger car struck the damaged Mazda.

The 26-year-old driver from Baltimore who was operating a Nissan sustained serious injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital. At this time, her identity has not been disclosed.

The Mazda driver, as well as the driver and passenger of the Toyota, suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the accident.
