A 19-year-old man has been charged by the Montgomery Police Department in relation to a shooting incident that resulted in a fatality back in July.
According to Major Saba Coleman, spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department, Kanye McTier from Montgomery has been accused of reckless murder.
The authorities have recently identified another person of interest in connection to the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old Montgomery resident that took place on July 22. The suspect, named McTier, was apprehended on Friday by the United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force. Currently, he is being held without bail at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
According to Coleman, the case has resulted in the arrest and charging of three suspects so far. The first two to be apprehended were a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old. The latest individual to be charged is the third suspect.
The identity of the victim has yet to be disclosed.
