Accused Neighbor Sought for Fatal Shooting of NYC Woman, Friend, and Dog in Apartment Break-In

Police are now searching for a man who is accused of breaking into a woman’s apartment in Washington Heights earlier this year. The incident, which took place in April, has taken a deadly turn with the recent shooting deaths of the woman, her friend, and one of her dogs. The suspect is wanted in connection with this shocking crime. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in their investigation. The community is in mourning over this senseless act of violence and is hoping for justice to be served.

According to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Lenue Moore, who is 31 years old, has been charged with assault and attempted burglary. The charges stem from an incident on April 11th where Moore allegedly kicked in the front door of Jackie Billini’s apartment in Washington Heights at around 1:30 a.m. and proceeded to attack Billini and two members of her family.

In a shocking turn of events, authorities are once again searching for Moore, this time as a person of interest in the cold-blooded murder of Billini. It has been less than six months since he first made headlines for his alleged involvement in a previous crime. A “Wanted” poster with his mugshot has been circulating this week, marking yet another chapter in Moore’s troubled history.

According to sources from the police department, Billini, who is 57 years old, was out for a walk with her friend, Levaughn Harvin, and her pit bull, Zeus, in Washington Heights on Friday evening. As they were walking, a man dressed in black and wearing a mask approached them from behind while holding an umbrella and shot them.

According to a source who spoke with The Post, the gruesome murders were apparently triggered by a dispute over the family dog.

According to a source, the perpetrator allegedly resides in the same building due to an ongoing disagreement concerning a dog.

According to neighbors, Billini had requested Harvin’s company for a walk around the neighborhood as she was afraid of Moore. This was after his release on bail following his arrest for the violent break-in.

As per the legal documents, the individual forcefully kicked Billini’s apartment door while she and two of her relatives were attempting to keep it closed. Despite their efforts, the perpetrator ultimately broke through the door.

According to the complaint, as Moore forcefully entered the West 163rd Street residence and assaulted two individuals, the door struck Billini, resulting in a fracture in her right arm.

As a result of the incident, the third person sustained injuries to their face from the impact of the door.

The judge was requested by the Manhattan DA to set Moore’s bail at either $15,000 cash or a partially secured surety bond of $30,000.

Although facing severe allegations of violence, the judge granted him bail at an unexpectedly low price of $5,000 cash or partially-secured bond. This means that the accused could potentially regain his freedom by paying just 10%, which amounts to $500. It is a concerning situation that raises questions about the effectiveness of the justice system in dealing with such violent crimes.

Following his arraignment on May 18, he managed to avoid imprisonment and was not held in custody. However, he faced a more severe set of charges that included three counts of assault and three counts of burglary.

According to sources, authorities are currently on the hunt for the fugitive in connection with Billini’s murder investigation.

According to sources, during the incident that took place near West 165th Street and Edgecombe Avenue, Highbridge Park, Billini, an analyst with the state court system in the Bronx, received injuries to the back of her head and neck, while her companion Harvin, 42, was struck in the face and shoulder.

Billini and Harvin were immediately taken to Harlem Hospital by the authorities. Sadly, they were pronounced dead upon arrival.

According to local residents, the dispute between Billini and Moore originated from an incident earlier this year when Moore attempted to remove Billini’s dog.

According to sources, Moore is currently residing at his mother’s apartment. However, it is known that he owns a house in one of the Carolinas, which was bought by his mother.

The news of the woman’s murder has left the local community in a state of disbelief, as she was well-liked by those who knew her. The violent nature of her death has sent shockwaves through the neighborhood, leaving many struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.

As he made his way to get a candle to place by her door, Jay, a neighbor, expressed his sorrow over the loss of the great woman. “It’s heartbreaking,” he told The Post.

As he spoke fondly of her, he described her as a truly beautiful person – caring, kind-hearted, and loved by all the kids. She had a way of connecting with people and was always friendly to everyone she encountered. Her warm and inviting personality made her a familiar face in the community, and she was well-known and loved by all.
