On Monday, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested two teenagers for their participation in three armed carjackings.
The suspects in all the offenses took a similar approach. They would approach the victims and brandish a firearm before demanding that the victims hand over their cars. After obtaining the cars, the suspects would then flee from the scene.

- On Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at approximately 8:35 p.m. in the 900 block of 9th Street Northeast.
- On Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at approximately 4:12 a.m. in the 6900 block of Blair Road Northwest.
- On Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at approximately 12:03 a.m. in the 1400 block of G Street Northwest.
Police apprehended and pressed charges against two teenagers, aged 15, hailing from Southeast, D.C. The boys were accused of three counts of armed carjacking.
