Armed Carjackings Lead To The Arrest Of DC Teenagers

On Monday, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested two teenagers for their participation in three armed carjackings.

The suspects in all the offenses took a similar approach. They would approach the victims and brandish a firearm before demanding that the victims hand over their cars. After obtaining the cars, the suspects would then flee from the scene.

    • On Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at approximately 8:35 p.m. in the 900 block of 9th Street Northeast.
    • On Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at approximately 4:12 a.m. in the 6900 block of Blair Road Northwest.
    • On Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at approximately 12:03 a.m. in the 1400 block of G Street Northwest.

Police apprehended and pressed charges against two teenagers, aged 15, hailing from Southeast, D.C. The boys were accused of three counts of armed carjacking.
