Arrest Made in Two-Month-Old Homicide Case by D.C. Police

Wagswoofs – The Homicide Branch of the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has achieved a major breakthrough in a murder case that took place in October. They have successfully made an arrest in relation to the shooting incident that resulted in the tragic death of a man in Northeast D.C.

The initial incident occurred at around 5:29 a.m. on October 16th. Officers were sent to the 1500 block of Maryland Avenue because of reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Northwest D.C. native Davon Fuller, 28, suffering from gunshot wounds. Although Fuller was rushed to a nearby hospital, he sadly died from his injuries.

Deandre Miles, a 28-year-old resident of Northeast D.C., turned himself in to the Homicide Branch on December 27th. After surrendering, Miles faced charges of First Degree Murder while Armed, as per a DC Superior Court arrest warrant.
