Bomb Squad Called To Home Near Pittsburgh After Body Found Next To Suspected Explosive Device

Wagswoofs – On Wednesday night, a body was discovered in a home in Bethel Park, prompting the Allegheny County Bomb Squad to be summoned to the scene.

According to reports, law enforcement agencies received a call regarding an incident at a residence located on Oak Park Drive. Several agencies immediately responded to the scene.

According to insider sources, KDKA-TV has received information that law enforcement officials discovered a deceased individual in close proximity to a presumed explosive device.

The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the individual as Richard Friedman, aged 53.

According to the investigation by Allegheny County Police, there was no explosive device found at the location, and it appears that the death was a result of suicide.

The authorities at Bethel Park Police are currently carrying out an investigation.
