Breaking News: Arrests made of two women accused of stealing cooking oil

Two women have been taken into custody by the police for stealing cooking oil from a diner in Monroe County located on SR611. The incident took place in Scoturn, and the women were caught in the act.

The Pocono Township Police Department reported that they received a call regarding a theft of used cooking oil at the Scotrun Diner on State Route 611 at around 7:30 a.m. on October 7. Officers promptly responded to the scene.

According to authorities, the vehicle believed to have been involved in the robbery was a white van that had a ladder rack on its roof. The van bore New Jersey registration, and two women were reportedly inside the vehicle at the time of the theft.

After receiving a report, the officers were able to track down the car that was heading southbound on SR611 in front of Turkey Hill. Consequently, they initiated a traffic stop to investigate the situation further.

After the incident, Yuliana Perez Sanchez, a 23-year-old driver from Jersey City, and her passenger, 40-year-old Aranely Sanchez-Conde, also from Jersey City, were taken into custody and transported to the Monore County Correctional Facility.

The individuals in question have been accused of theft and having possession of instruments that could be used for criminal purposes.
