DC Police Arrested 2 Suspects, Search For 2 Others Wanted

Wagswoofs – Two individuals who were indicted by the US District Court and were wanted by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) have been apprehended by officers. This news was confirmed by the MPD.

The MPD’s Sixth District Crime Suppression Team apprehended Keion Brown, 20, and Jovan Williams, 18, from Northwest, D.C., last Friday.

Charges of carrying a pistol without a license, armed robbery, armed carjacking, and other related offenses were filed against Brown and Williams, along with a 16-year-old boy from Maryland.

Authorities detained Williams for his involvement in a warrant issued in Maryland.

On June 27, the FBI, DEA, IRS, ATF, and MPD apprehended 12 individuals who were reportedly part of a drug trafficking organization.

Law enforcement has charged the members with a range of offenses including conspiracy to engage in drug trafficking, possession of firearms to further drug-related activities, and assault using dangerous weapons. Additionally, law enforcement officials seized a number of firearms and narcotics during the operation.

The MPD is currently on the lookout for two more individuals who have been indicted for similar charges in connection with the recent arrests. The authorities have identified these suspects as 24-year-old Warren Lawrence Fields, III, from Oxon Hill, Md., and 27-year-old Juwan Demetrius Clark, from Northwest, D.C.
