DC Police Probe Two Stabbings Less Than Mile From Each Other

Wagswoofs – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in Washington is currently investigating two separate stabbing incidents that occurred in the District on Wednesday.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced on the platform X at noon that officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 2400 block of Alabama Ave., SE.

The victim, an adult man, was conscious and breathing, according to officials. The call was received shortly before 11:45 a.m.

MPD made another post at 12:20 p.m., stating that officers were investigating a stabbing in the 2900 block of Knox Pl., SE, which was less than a mile away from the previous stabbing location.

The police did not issue a lookout for either of the stabbings. They have not disclosed whether or not the two incidents are connected.
