Wagswoofs – On Saturday night in East New York, two EMTs were hospitalized while attempting to save the life of an elderly woman.
The New York Police Department is currently attempting to reconstruct the events that unfolded while EMTs were providing assistance to the woman.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) received a distress call at approximately 8 p.m. to assist a 60-year-old woman on Loring Avenue. As the first responders arrived at the scene, they encountered a situation where another woman, who was connected to the victim, initiated an assault on two of the EMT’s.
One EMT was punched and pushed into a fence, and the other EMT was punched in the nose. They were both taken to Kings County Hospital but have since been let go. The cops say, though, that the elderly woman they were trying to help is in very bad shape.
The woman who assaulted the EMTs has been apprehended by the authorities.
