Former New York Governor Rips City’s Migrant Crisis As “Complete Chaos”

Wagswoofs – Former New York Governor George Pataki criticized the current influx of migrants in New York City, referring to it as “an absolute mess.”

During an interview on the “Cats & Cosby” show with John Catsimatidis, former governor George Pataki placed the blame on President Joe Biden for the crisis at the border. Pataki, a Republican, expressed his intentions to sue President Biden, accusing him of “allowing an open border.”

“I would put [the migrants] on buses and … send them to Kamala Harris’ residence,” Pataki said. “Send them to the White House. Then, all of a sudden, maybe they will realize they should close the damn borders.”

The former governor also said that he thinks the city can’t handle the large number of newcomers. This is similar to what New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been saying for months. In September, Adams said that the rising number of migrants would “destroy” the city.

Adams and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul have expressed their concerns to the Biden administration regarding the increase in migrants. Since spring 2022, over 150,000 migrants have arrived in New York City, and Adams has emphasized that this influx could potentially result in a financial burden of nearly $12 billion for the city.
