Hundreds Brace for Job Losses as Another Ohio Manufacturing Plant Prepares to Close

Regrettably, Ohio is still experiencing a wave of layoffs.

Mansfield Plumbing Products recently announced that it will be implementing layoffs at its Perrysville, Ohio facility, affecting a total of 263 employees.

According to the regulations set forth by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, if an employer has over 100 full-time employees, they are required to give a 60-day notice prior to laying off 50 or more employees at a single site.

Mansfield Plumbing has recently informed the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services that its manufacturing plant located in Perrysville will be shutting down. Unfortunately, due to this closure, 263 employees will lose their jobs.

Please be advisedĀ that on December 31, 2023, Mansfield Plumbing Products will be permanently closing manufactuting facilities at the Sanitary Ware production plant located at 150 E 1st, Perrysville, Ohio. Seperation of the affected employees is expcected to be permanent.”
