Investigation Launched After High School Football Player Fatally Stabbed In Conecuh County

Wagswoofs – In the West Side community of Conecuh County, tragedy struck on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Robert Baldwin Jr., an 18-year-old high school football player, was found stabbed on Highway 83. The Conecuh County Coroner’s Office confirmed his death after receiving a 911 call at 7:32 p.m.

Baldwin was quickly transported to Evergreen Medical Center by Conecuh County EMS. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at 7:56 p.m. after sustaining multiple stab wounds.
