Kent County Sheriff’s Office Investigates After Discovery Body In Woods

Wagswoofs –  The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into what they have classified as an “unattended death” after the discovery of a body in the woods.

At around 3 p.m. on Thursday, deputies were called to the 2900 block of Kraft Avenue SE to conduct a welfare check.

According to reports, there were rumors circulating that an individual, rumored to be homeless, had taken up temporary residence in the woods along Kraft Ave.

The 37-year-old guy was already dead when the police got there.

The sheriff’s office is currently treating this as an unattended death and will collaborate with the Kent County Medical Examiner’s Office to ascertain the precise cause of death for the individual.
