Wagswoofs – A tragic incident occurred in Las Vegas as a Las Vegas Metro police officer took his own life shortly after being arrested on charges of stalking and home invasion. This devastating news was confirmed by the coroner’s office on Tuesday.
Jake Freeman was arrested by Henderson police on Sunday, December 31. Freeman was charged with three serious crimes, which included aggravated stalking, attempted home invasion, and damaging or destroying someone else’s personal property.
Henderson police promptly responded to a disturbance between Freeman and another individual, according to official documents. Freeman had sent multiple messages to the person, inquiring about their company.
According to documents, the individual contacted the police from a closet, reporting that Freeman was outside, banging on the door.
According to documents, it has been reported that Freeman once prevented someone from leaving a driveway. In this incident, he allegedly displayed his handgun and even dropped it onto the person’s lap.
According to the documents, prior to his arrest, another individual had informed the police that Freeman had made threats of self-harm.
The Henderson Justice Court, even after the passing of the individual, conducted a hearing to establish bail and arranged a future court date, as per records.
