Wagswoofs – On Saturday, a woman from Laurelton was apprehended for causing harm to an employee who attempted to prevent her from stealing from a restaurant in Valley Stream.
According to the police, at approximately 8 p.m., Victoria Ogundipe, aged 27, entered Kim Wong Chinese Kitchen located on Merrick Road, grabbed a bag with various food items, and left the restaurant without making any payment.
Authorities have reported that Ogundipe punched a 54-year-old employee multiple times when they tried to intervene. In addition to this, she has been accused of knocking the employee down and choking them.
According to the police, the hospital has confirmed that the employee is expected to recover fully after being rushed to the hospital.
