According to the police, a man got involved in a dispute between a 40-year-old woman and a panhandler at a subway station in New York City on Tuesday, which resulted in gunfire.
Authorities have reported that the panhandler who was engaged in an argument with a woman at the 49th Street subway station in Times Square was approached by the alleged shooter, who then proceeded to pull the trigger at around 9:15 p.m.
Police confirmed that no one was injured in the shooting incident and the number of shots fired remains unclear. According to a source who spoke to The Post, the gunman only discharged one round.
According to the NYPD, the panhandler has been apprehended and is facing charges, while the person who allegedly shot them is still at large.
