Man From Blackfoot Area Airlifted To Hospital After Sustaining Serious Injuries In Farm Accident

Wagswoofs – A young man, aged 20, from the local area was airlifted to an East Idaho hospital on Tuesday following a serious farm accident near Blackfoot.

The man fell off a big tractor while feeding cows around noon and hit his head on something, according to the police.

Bingham County sheriff’s deputies and the Blackfoot Fire Department rushed to the farm where the accident took place, located near 600 North and 150 West in the Rose area north of Blackfoot.

An emergency helicopter from Air Idaho was summoned and landed at the farm to airlift the injured man to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

As of Tuesday night, the name and condition of the injured man remain undisclosed.

According to the sheriff’s office, a person who was accompanying the man at the time reported the incident of him falling off the tractor.
