Wagswoofs – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Northwest, D.C. on Sunday morning.
At approximately 3 a.m., authorities received a report about an unconscious man discovered in a parking garage located in the 2100 block of 8th St., N.W. Upon arrival, they discovered that the individual had sustained a gunshot wound.
The unfortunate incident resulted in his death right at the scene.
The authorities have identified the individual as Anwar Wingate, a 24-year-old resident of Forestville, Maryland.
