Wagswoofs – The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the most recent homicide that occurred overnight in the city.
Around 3:30 a.m., officers were called to the 900 block of Greeley Avenue in response to a report of shots being fired.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police were informed that the victim was being taken to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle.
Sadly, the male adult eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Police are currently conducting an investigation and are urging anyone with any information to come forward and contact them.
The city has recorded its 22nd homicide of the year, which is a decrease compared to the 35 homicides reported during the same period last year.
