On Saturday night, a fourteen-year-old who had gone missing on Friday afternoon was found at the intersection of Lake Road and Highway 81 in the Wren community. The search for him had been massive, with Anderson and Greenville county deputies, Anderson county emergency management, Anderson Technical Rescue, and Powdersville firefighters scouring the area where he was last seen. The search efforts included the use of drones and dogs. Fortunately, someone spotted the teen near a church and called 911. Medshore arrived on the scene and took him to a nearby hospital for a checkup.
