According to the NYPD, the occurrence took place at around 2:45 p.m. at the Knowledge and Power Preparatory Academy, which is a middle school located in Brownsville.
Upon witnessing the conflict between the two teenagers, the teacher stepped in to intervene, only to end up getting stabbed with a knife.
After the incident, the teacher suffered only minor injuries and was promptly treated by EMS on the school premises.
The authorities were able to apprehend a 16-year-old boy who was wielding a knife. Thankfully, they were also able to recover the weapon.
Upon being contacted by The Post, the Department of Education did not provide an immediate comment.
Hours following a brutal attack on two teen boys outside their Queens public high school, another attack occurred.
