Wagswoofs – According to a report by The New York Post, Principal Scott Milczewski of Hillcrest High School has announced his departure from the school to take on a new role within the city’s Department of Education. In a letter addressed to parents, Milczewski shared the news of his transition.

The New York Post says that Scott Milczewski, the principal of Hillcrest High School, told parents in a letter that he was leaving the school to take a new job with the city’s Department of Education.

“It is with mixed emotions that I inform you that I have been offered, and accepted, the position of Director of Teacher Development and Evaluation within the Division of Teaching and Learning,” Milczewski wrote in the letter.

The New York City Department of Education declined to comment on Milczewski’s reassignment when approached by The Post.

In a recent incident, a teacher who is Jewish had to hide in a closet while students, who were looking for her, prompted a response from over 20 NYPD officers at a school in Jamaica, Queens.

The hallways were taken over by students for a duration of two hours, resulting in damage to the water fountains.

The teacher’s termination was demanded by outraged individuals who discovered, via Facebook, that she had attended a rally on Oct. 9 in support of Israel.

The teacher’s profile photo proudly displayed her standing beside a flag that read, “I stand with Israel.”

The video captured the commotion in the hallway, which quickly spread on TikTok. In the footage, the students can be seen energetically shouting, chanting, and even performing drill dances while proudly waving Palestinian flags.
