Wagswoofs – Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has revealed that on Thursday, November 16, law enforcement officials conducted searches in Hoboken, Jersey City, Elizabeth, and Montclair. These searches were a culmination of a lengthy investigation, and were conducted following the issuance of court-issued search warrants. The officials acted on these warrants in order to further the investigation.
Suarez reported that the search resulted in the discovery of seven handguns, out of which two had been reported as stolen. The authorities also found over 17 kilograms of heroin/fentanyl and more than 2.5 kilograms of cocaine. The total value of the drugs confiscated was estimated to be over $15 million on the street.
The prosecutor stated that they have confiscated an amount exceeding $20,000, which is suspected to be the profit earned from drug deals.
Six individuals, namely Chad Robertson, Marquis High, Darrell Love, Anthony Crawford, Erica Rivera-Mobley, and Darryl Mobley, are facing various charges. The attached document contains a detailed list of charges against each defendant.
The investigation was conducted with the assistance of several law enforcement agencies, including the Hoboken Police Department, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, the Essex County Tactical Response Team, the Union County SWAT, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Unit, the Montclair Police Department, the Elizabeth Police Department, the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, and the Essex County K9 Unit. Together, they carried out a comprehensive investigation.
