Off Times Square: 45-year-old man robbed at gunpoint; trio escapes in getaway Jeep

According to police reports on Thursday, a group of three thieves robbed a man at gunpoint near Times Square before fleeing in a Jeep. The incident which took place in New York has left the victim shaken and the authorities on high alert.

The NYPD has released new images of the three suspects involved in a mugging that took place on September 18th near West 44th Street and Sixth Avenue. The suspects, consisting of two men and a woman, are wanted in connection with the incident.

According to the police, two men approached a 45-year-old man who was standing on the sidewalk at 2:20 a.m. and threatened him with a gun.

According to the police, the suspects intimidated the victim and took away his iPhone along with jewelry valued at $1,500.

As the scene unfolded, a brand new Jeep Compass driven by a woman suspect pulled up. The two men quickly jumped into the vehicle and the trio fled in the direction of West 44th Street.
