Wagswoofs – Investigators from the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene around 7:50 p.m. upon receiving reports of the collision. Although the cause of the crash is yet to be determined, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear.
The Office of the Medical Examiner has confirmed the death of a 27-year-old man at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed.
The car that the victim was in remained unknown.
As SkyCal hovered above, three tow trucks were in action, loading the damaged vehicles onto their beds. The road bore the marks of a spilled liquid, with shattered glass strewn all over the ground. Cleanup crews were working hard to clear the area of debris.
