Wagswoofs – According to police, Mohamed Alaouie, 44, has been charged with various crimes including attempted murder of a police officer, assault, reckless endangerment, drug possession, driving while intoxicated, and driving while ability impaired. This information was reported by the New York Post.
According to witnesses, Alaouie was engaged in a heated argument with his girlfriend, who is 34 years old, while they were inside the moving vehicle. Concerned bystanders noticed the altercation and promptly alerted the nearby patrolling officers.
According to police, Alaouie attempted to flee when the officers intervened. Reportedly, he collided with multiple marked police cars, as well as two police officers and three pedestrians.
Carrie Bernans, a 39-year-old actress and stuntwoman, gained recognition for her roles in popular movies such as “Black Panther,” “Avengers: Endgame,” and “The Color Purple,” according to WABC.
All six individuals who were injured were taken to the hospital, but fortunately, their injuries were minor.

Despite this, I remain hopeful and believe in the goodness of God, as well as His ability to heal. I am fortunate that my surgery was successful and am confident that with time, I will recover.”
Alaouie was apprehended at the intersection of West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue. During the search of his vehicle, law enforcement officers discovered a substantial amount of crack cocaine.
According to the outlet, Alaouie, who has a history of prior arrests, including charges related to drugs and criminal possession of stolen property, has been taken into custody once again.
The individual was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but his condition has since stabilized. As of Monday, his condition remains stable.
His girlfriend sustained minor injuries and was admitted to the hospital.
