Police Search For SUV Driver Who Allegedly Fled After Crash Killed Two Young Brothers

Wagswoofs – Authorities in Antioch, California, are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a tragic hit-and-run incident that claimed the lives of two young brothers. The incident occurred in the San Francisco Bay area on Friday.

According to a statement from the Antioch Police Department, they were called to the scene of a traffic collision at an intersection in Antioch at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene of a car accident involving two vehicles, one of which was carrying two boys, aged 12 and 13.

According to the police, the boys were taken to nearby hospitals in an ambulance but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.

According to the police, the driver of one of the vehicles escaped on foot.

The police statement indicated that speed and reckless driving played a significant role in this incident.

According to KGO-TV, a witness observed a black SUV zooming by, followed by the sound of a collision. Curiosity led the witness to investigate the scene, where they discovered the driver of the car that had seemingly been struck by the SUV.

According to the witness, he actively assisted the man, who is presumed to be the father of the two boys, in extracting one of them from his vehicle.
