Wagswoofs – On Saturday, a crash involving seven vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of the Belt Parkway, resulting in the hospitalization of at least six people.
According to authorities, the collision was initiated at approximately 9:30 p.m. by a car in the rightmost lane that suddenly veered off course. The car collided with another vehicle located in the middle lane, subsequently propelling it into a car occupying the left lane.
A Honda traveling at a high speed T-boned the car, which was flung into the westbound traffic. According to authorities, the individuals traveling in the Honda sustained injuries.
Police reported that three additional cars collided with each other from behind the Honda.
According to officials, the driver who caused the chain reaction by swerving abruptly has fled the scene. The police and highway patrol are currently in pursuit of the driver while also working to clear the debris left behind.
