Wagswoofs – On Tuesday, authorities took into custody a man from Rochester on charges related to drug possession.
The Batavia Police Department and Genesee County Sheriffs have accused Alterique Day, who is 51 years old, of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Deputies reported that an agent from the Genesee County Drug Task Force was able to purchase a quantity of fentanyl from Day in Batavia. As a result, Day was arrested based on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Genesee County Court.
