Teen Faces Charges Following Car Stolen In Lancaster

Wagswoofs –  A 16-year-old boy has been charged with multiple offenses after he reportedly stole a vehicle in Lancaster and later abandoned it in Amherst on Sunday, as per authorities.

According to the police, they attempted to stop several suspicious vehicles in the vicinity of Millersport Highway. Eventually, they located the vehicle on Maple Road shortly after. A chase followed, but the teenager eventually abandoned the stolen 2020 Hyundai that had been reported missing from Lancaster. This happened in the area of Maple and Transit Road.

The teenager faces charges for possessing stolen property, obstructing government administration, fleeing from a police officer, reckless driving, and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
