A teenager from Montgomery has been accused of committing murder, according to WSFA news.
According to Montgomery police, a 16-year-old individual whose name has not been released was apprehended on Tuesday and is currently being held without bail at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
According to a spokesperson for the police department, the current situation is a result of a tragic incident that occurred on September 10th. During that time, a 16-year-old boy lost his life due to a shooting. Additionally, a man was also shot, but fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening. It remains unclear whether the suspect is responsible for both shootings or not.
According to the police, the shooting took place on Gazebo East Drive, specifically in the 100 block. Initially, the authorities reported that they responded to the incident on Eastdale Road South’s 100 block. However, they released a correction in their announcement on Tuesday, clarifying the location of the incident.
The authorities have not disclosed any further details or reasons behind the incident. The investigation, however, is still in progress.
