Wagswoofs – Attorney Alina Habba seems to have a penchant for stirring up controversy on social media when she’s not busy building a legal defense for Donald Trump.
On Monday, Habba took to her Instagram Story to share a post from X (formerly Twitter), drawing a comparison between herself and the renowned pop artist Taylor Swift. Habba highlighted Taylor Swift’s firm stance against the twice-impeached former president, emphasizing her own outspokenness on the matter.
The post asks, “Wouldn’t it be great if our country had more women like Alina Habba and fewer like Taylor Swift?”
In September, Trump weighed in on Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s relationship, expressing his well wishes for both of them. He stated, “I hope they enjoy their life, whether it’s together or not, although it’s unlikely.”
U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan recently made a ruling that requires Trump to pay $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll. This is in addition to the $5 million judgment for sexual abuse and defamation that was already issued against him last year. Despite Habba’s continuous contesting of the ruling, Kaplan sternly warned her that he would hold her in contempt if she persisted.
In November, when he declared his candidacy for the 2024 Republican nomination, Trump faced another setback in August. He was indicted for the fourth time, this one in Georgia, in connection with the 2020 election.
