Two Elementary School Kids Killed On Their Way To Class After Being Hit In Intersection

Wagswoofs – Tragedy struck in Maryland on Monday morning as two children lost their lives on their way to school. They were crossing an intersection when a car hit them, leading to their untimely demise.

Around 8:00 a.m., while on their way to class in Riverdale Park, which is near the state border with Washington D.C., elementary-aged children were hit.

According to local reports, the children were transported to a hospital, but unfortunately, they later succumbed to their injuries. A resident of the area expressed their frustration on X, stating that the intersection of Riverdale Road and Taylor is particularly concerning as drivers frequently disregard traffic laws and children often run across the street.

According to ABC 7 News, the authorities have stated that the driver in question is associated with Riverdale Park Elementary School, the school that the children attend.

Afterwards, the investigation was taken over by the Prince George’s County Police Department from the Riverdale Park Police. The Messenger reached out to PCPD for their comment, but has yet to receive a response.
