Two individuals lost their lives in a shooting incident that occurred in Northwestern Wisconsin on Saturday. The authorities have now arrested a suspect in connection with the case. The incident is currently under investigation, and more information is expected to be released soon.
The Ashland Police Department has reported that they were notified of gunfire on the 300 block of Lakeshore Drive East, in close proximity to a Dollar Tree store, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Officers at the scene discovered two deceased men with gunshot wounds and promptly took a suspect into custody in the vicinity.
According to APD, they have reason to believe that the shooting was an isolated event and that it does not present any danger to the general public.
