U.S. Marshals Arrest 6 Suspects In Selma Undercover Operation

Wagswoofs –  During the week of December 4, the US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) apprehended six individuals on various charges, including Capital Murder, Firearms Violations, and Narcotics.

The individuals taken into custody are as follows: Jaaquon Wilson, charged with Capital Murder; Stephen Woods, also charged with Capital Murder; Lashonda Carter, arrested for Hindering Prosecution and Possession of Narcotics; Trevon Lewis, apprehended due to Failure to Appear by Federal Prosecution; Khadijah Dillard, facing charges of False Statements and Firearms Violation under Federal Prosecution; and Collin Barley, arrested for being a Felon in Possession of Firearms under Federal Prosecution.

The US Marshals GCRFTF – Mobile Office led the operation, with support from several assisting agencies, including the Southern District of Alabama, Alcohol Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), ATF Safe Streets Task Force, Selma Police Department, Jackson Police Department, Thomasville Police Department, Demopolis Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, The District Attorney’s Office 4th Judicial Circuit, The District Attorney’s Office 17th Judicial District, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), and the Alabama Department of Pardons and Paroles.

Sloke, the US Marshal for the Southern District of Alabama. “Our mission is to pursue justice for those who disregard the laws of our nation and jeopardize the well-being of our communities. This collaborative effort underscores the unwavering commitment of the US Marshals Service in safeguarding the historic streets of Selma for its residents.”

The GCRFTF continues to actively pursue individuals with warrants in the Selma area.
