US-Canada Rainbow Bridge closed after deadly vehicle explosion

According to sources from Canadian officials, the car did not come from the Canadian side of the border. The investigation is ongoing to determine the route taken by the vehicle, but it seems that the incident occurred solely on the U.S. side of the bridge.

Sources who were briefed on the investigation have revealed that surveillance footage depicted the vehicle coming to a halt at a primary security checkpoint. Afterward, the vehicle was directed towards a secondary security checkpoint. However, at this juncture, the vehicle accelerated and collided into the secondary screening station.
