Woman From Iowa City Arrested After Allegedly Running Up Charges On Stolen Credit Card

Wagswoofs – An Iowa City woman was apprehended by authorities after she reportedly accumulated hundreds of dollars in charges using a stolen credit card.

37-year-old Bridget Dual of Sycamore Street was captured on closed circuit TV footage from the Coralville Walmart and the nearby Casey’s on the morning of November 12th, according to the police. As per the criminal complaint, Dual made multiple purchases, including gift cards and other items. She reportedly used the victim’s credit card twice at Walmart, amounting to a total of nearly $480. Additionally, she bought gift cards and two energy drinks from Casey’s, with a total charge of over $400. In total, the charges added up to $884.53.

On November 21st, a warrant was issued for Dual’s arrest. She was apprehended on Monday afternoon and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card, which is an aggravated misdemeanor. If convicted, she could face a jail term of up to two years.
