1 Dead, Multiple Injured In Shooting At Colorado Mall On Christmas Eve

Wagswoofs – A shooting at a Colorado mall on Christmas Eve resulted in the death of one person and injuries to three others, according to police.

On X, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said that they were looking into what happened at the Citadel Mall on Sunday. Authorities said at the time that there was “no ongoing threat to the community.”

CPSD told The Messenger in a statement that they were called to the shopping center around 4:30 p.m. because of reports of a shooting. When they got there, they found a dead guy inside the mall who had been shot multiple times.

The shooting also badly hurt two other men, who were taken to a nearby hospital. The police say that each of the guys was shot at least once. Police say they also took a woman to the hospital with minor injuries who was hurt during the shooting but not by gunshots.

A fight broke out between two groups of people, and it turned into a killing, the CPSD told The Messenger. In the wake of the shooting, police have arrested several people while they continue to investigate, CSPD told The Messenger.

The mall has been closed and evacuated in response to the shooting incident, according to a statement from the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
