How we correct errors
- Factual errors (wrong name, date, figure, quote) are corrected in the article text with a visible correction note and timestamp.
- Substantial errors that change the meaning of a story include an editor’s note explaining what changed and why.
- Updates to ongoing/developing stories are marked “Updated” with a timestamp rather than treated as corrections.
