According to authorities, a tragic incident occurred early Sunday on Manhattan’s Henry Hudson Parkway, where a man riding a Vespa lost his life after colliding with a guardrail. The police have confirmed the incident, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident.
According to the police, the victim was riding a gas-powered 2009 Vespa heading south when he lost control near the George Washington Bridge around 2:30 a.m.
While driving in the right lane near exit 14 in Washington Heights, he accidentally hit a guardrail on the parkway.
As per the authorities, the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The individual was swiftly transported to Harlem Hospital by medical professionals, unfortunately, despite their best efforts, they were unable to save his life.
The individual did not have any identification on him and the authorities are currently conducting an investigation to establish his identity.
