Breaking News: Assault and Robbery Target Female Passenger in NYC Subway Train

The New York City Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying a person connected to a robbery incident that took place on a northbound “B” train in the vicinity of the 145 Street subway station.

This incident unfolded on the evening of Wednesday, September 20, at approximately 9:45 p.m. During the occurrence, an unknown individual assaulted a 24-year-old female victim, forcibly yanking her hair, striking her in the face, and causing her to fall to the ground. Subsequently, the assailant absconded with the victim’s mobile phone before leaving the subway station.

The injured individual experienced facial bruising and suffered lacerations on her hands. Swiftly attended to by EMS, she was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where she is currently in a stable condition.

In connection with the continuous inquiry within the 30 Precinct, Transit District 3, the NYPD has made available a photograph of the person of interest, urging anyone possessing information to step forward and assist in the investigation.
